About Us

About Us We built this because we needed it Wedlibrary started inside a wedding studio, not a boardroom. If you have ever sat down to cut a same-day edit at 2 a.m., you know the problem. The footage is ready. The story is clear in your head. And then you spend the next ninety minutes scrolling through playlists, opening tabs, half-listening to intros, trying to find the one track that carries the moment — the vidaai that needs restraint, the sangeet that needs to build, the teaser that needs to land in forty seconds. The edit takes two hours. Finding the song takes three. We got tired of that. So we built the tool we wished existed. What Wedlibrary does Wedlibrary is a song discovery platform for wedding studios, cinematographers, and video editors. It is built around how editors actually think about music — by moment, mood, tempo, language, and energy, not by chart position or release date. - Search the way you edit. Filter by wedding moment, mood, pace, language, and instrumentation instead of guessing at keywords. - AI-assisted suggestions. Describe the feel of a sequence, or start from a song you already like, and get a shortlist that actually fits. - Curated, not crawled. Our catalogue is built and maintained by people who cut wedding films, so what you see has been considered rather than scraped. - Save what works. Build playlists per project, per client, or per moment, and come back to them. What Wedlibrary is not We think being clear about this matters more than sounding impressive. We do not host music. Not a single audio file. Every track on Wedlibrary is a reference — metadata plus a link that opens on YouTube or Spotify, where the song is played by that platform. We do not license music. A Wedlibrary subscription buys you discovery, not rights. If you plan to use a track in a film you deliver or publish, you need to clear it yourself with the rights holders — synchronisation, master use, and everything else that applies. Finding a song here is not permission to use it. We say this plainly because the alternative is letting an editor assume otherwise and find out the hard way, on a client's film, with a copyright claim attached. That is a bad day we would rather you not have. Who is behind it Wedlibrary is built and operated by Wedlancer Private Limited, a company working across the Indian wedding industry. The team comes from production — running shoots, managing edit pipelines, and delivering films to real clients on real deadlines. That background shapes what we build. We are not trying to be a general-purpose music service. We are trying to be the fastest way for a wedding editor to find the right song and get back to the timeline. Where we are going The catalogue grows every week. We are working on deeper moment-level tagging, better cross-language discovery, and suggestions that understand the arc of an edit rather than just the vibe of a clip. If something is missing, broken, or annoying, tell us. Small teams can actually act on feedback, and we do. Say hello: hello@wedlibrary.com
