Terms of Use

Terms of Use Last updated: 6 August 2026 These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Wedlibrary.com and any related applications or services (together, the "Platform"). The Platform is owned and operated by Wedlancer Private Limited ("Wedlibrary", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. 1. What Wedlibrary is (and what it is not) Wedlibrary is a song discovery and reference tool built for wedding studio owners, cinematographers, and video editors. We help you find and shortlist music that suits a particular film, edit, or moment. Please read this carefully, because it is the most important thing on this page: - We do not host, store, stream, sell, or distribute any audio recordings. Every track on Wedlibrary is displayed as metadata (title, artist, mood, tempo, language, and similar descriptive information) alongside a link that opens on YouTube or Spotify, where the music is played by those platforms under their own terms. - We do not own, control, or represent any music rights. We are not a music label, publisher, licensing agency, performing rights organisation, or royalty-free music library. - A subscription to Wedlibrary grants you no rights whatsoever in any song. It grants you access to our search, curation, and suggestion tools — nothing more. 2. Music licensing is entirely your responsibility If you intend to use any song in a wedding film, reel, teaser, showreel, client delivery, social media post, screening, or any other production or public use, you are solely responsible for obtaining every licence required — including synchronisation, master use, mechanical, and public performance rights — directly from the relevant rights holders or their authorised agents. You acknowledge and agree that: - Discovering a song on Wedlibrary does not mean it is cleared, licensed, royalty-free, or safe to use. - We make no representation about the copyright status, ownership, or availability for licensing of any track. - Wedlibrary bears no liability for copyright claims, content strikes, takedowns, demonetisation, muted audio, platform penalties, legal notices, damages, or costs arising from your use of any music you discovered through the Platform. If you are unsure about the licensing status of a track, consult a qualified professional before using it. 3. Third-party platforms Links to YouTube, Spotify, and other third-party services are provided for convenience. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google LLC, Spotify AB, or any other linked service. Your use of those services is governed entirely by their own terms and privacy policies. Links may break, tracks may be removed by the rights holder, and availability may vary by country — none of this is within our control. 4. Eligibility and accounts You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law to use the Platform. The Platform is intended for professional and business use. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@wedlibrary.com if you suspect unauthorised access. One account is for one user. Sharing credentials, reselling access, or providing your login to people outside your organisation is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination without refund. If you need access for a team, contact us about additional seats. 5. Subscriptions, billing, and renewal - Access to paid features requires an active monthly or annual subscription at the plan and price displayed at the time of purchase. - Payments are processed by third-party payment gateways (such as Razorpay and Stripe). We do not store your full card or banking details. Your use of these gateways is subject to their terms. - Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate, unless you cancel before the renewal date. - You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by writing to hello@wedlibrary.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period. You retain access until the end of the period you have already paid for. - Prices are inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes (including GST) as indicated at checkout. We may revise pricing with reasonable prior notice, effective from your next renewal. - If a payment fails, we may suspend or downgrade your access until the amount is settled. All payments are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. 6. AI-generated suggestions The Platform uses artificial intelligence and similarity models to recommend songs and generate playlists based on your searches, described mood, or project context. These suggestions are automated, probabilistic, and provided on an "as is" basis. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, or unsuitable for your project. AI output is a starting point for your creative judgement, not a professional recommendation, and it carries no implication that a suggested track is licensed or appropriate for commercial use. Always review suggestions yourself before relying on them. 7. Acceptable use You agree not to: - Scrape, crawl, harvest, mirror, or bulk-export our catalogue, metadata, embeddings, or any part of the Platform by automated means; - Use the Platform to build, train, or improve a competing product, dataset, or model; - Resell, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit our catalogue or curation; - Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying models of the Platform; - Circumvent rate limits, access controls, paywalls, or authentication; - Upload or transmit malware, or interfere with the security, integrity, or performance of the Platform; - Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it; - Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity. We may suspend or terminate access immediately, without refund, for any breach of this section. 8. Intellectual property The Platform — including its curation, categorisation, tags, descriptions, editorial groupings, software, design, illustrations, and branding — is the property of Wedlancer Private Limited and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property law. Song titles, artist names, and album artwork remain the property of their respective owners and are displayed for identification and reference only. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and an active subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the Platform for your internal professional use. 9. Your content If you save playlists, notes, favourites, or other material to your account, you retain ownership of it. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Platform. You are responsible for ensuring your content is lawful and does not infringe anyone's rights. 10. Availability and changes We aim to keep the Platform available and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, add, or discontinue features, catalogue entries, or the Platform as a whole, with or without notice. Where a change materially reduces the value of a paid subscription, we will make a reasonable effort to notify active subscribers in advance. 11. Disclaimers To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or that any track listed is available, licensable, or suitable for your project. 12. Limitation of liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wedlancer Private Limited, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, client relationships, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Platform shall not exceed the total subscription fees actually paid by you to us in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. 13. Indemnity You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wedlancer Private Limited and its officers, directors, and employees from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, or any claim relating to your use of music in a production, including copyright infringement claims. 14. Termination You may stop using the Platform and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where required by law. On termination, your right to access the Platform ends immediately. Sections 2, 8, 11, 12, 13, and 15 survive termination. 15. Governing law and disputes These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform. Before initiating any formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith by writing to hello@wedlibrary.com. 16. Changes to these Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be notified by email or through a notice on the Platform. Continuing to use the Platform after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. 17.
