Cookies Policy Last updated: 6 August 2026 This Cookies Policy explains how Wedlancer Private Limited ("Wedlibrary", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on Wedlibrary.com (the "Platform"). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. 1. What cookies are Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember things between page loads and between visits — for example, that you are signed in, or that you prefer dark mode. We also use closely related technologies such as local storage and session storage, which work in a similar way. Wherever this policy says "cookies", it covers those too. 2. Our approach We keep this simple: we use only the cookies needed to make Wedlibrary work and remember your preferences. We do not run advertising cookies, behavioural tracking pixels, or third-party ad networks on the Platform. We do not sell data to advertisers, and we do not build advertising profiles. 3. Cookies we use Strictly necessary cookies These are required for the Platform to function. Without them you cannot sign in or stay signed in. They cannot be switched off through our settings. Authentication / session — Keeps you signed in and links your requests to your account (Duration: Session, or up to 30 days if you choose "remember me") Security — Protects against cross-site request forgery and abuse (Duration: Session) Load and routing — Ensures your requests are served correctly (Duration: Session) Functional cookies These remember choices you make so the Platform behaves the way you left it. Preferences — Remembers settings such as language, theme, default filters, and list or grid view (Duration: Up to 12 months) Recent activity — Remembers recently viewed songs and your last search context so you can pick up where you left off (Duration: Up to 12 months) Onboarding state — Prevents repeated display of tips and notices you have already dismissed (Duration: Up to 12 months) Payment cookies When you subscribe, our payment gateways (Razorpay and Stripe) set their own cookies on their checkout pages to process the transaction securely and detect fraud. These are set by them, not by us, and are governed by their own privacy and cookie policies. We do not receive or store your card details. 4. Third-party content Wedlibrary links out to YouTube and Spotify. Where a page contains an embedded player or preview from either service, that embed may set cookies from youtube.com, google.com, or spotify.com when it loads or when you interact with it. These cookies are controlled entirely by those companies, not by us. We have no access to what they collect. If you want to understand or limit them, please review the privacy and cookie policies of YouTube (Google) and Spotify directly. Simply clicking a link to open a song on YouTube or Spotify takes you to their platform, where their policies apply from that point on. 5. Analytics We currently do not use third-party analytics or tracking pixels such as Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel on the Platform. We do keep basic server-side logs — IP address, browser type, timestamps, and pages requested — for security, fraud prevention, and debugging. These are not cookies and are not used to profile you or to serve advertising. If we introduce analytics in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first. 6. Managing cookies Through your browser. Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies. You will usually find these controls under Settings → Privacy. Helpful pages exist for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. Please note: blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in, and the Platform will not work. Blocking functional cookies will not break the Platform, but your preferences will reset each time you visit. Do Not Track. Browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for how sites should respond, and we do not currently alter our behaviour based on it — which has little practical effect here, since we do not track you across other websites in the first place. 7. Changes to this policy We may update this policy if we change the cookies we use or introduce new tools. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version.
